Better Man Beard to Be Featured in Famous Condé Nast Magazine
01/11/2019

We were so happy and flattered to be approached by Condé Nast, the parent company and publisher of the popular Brides magazine. In celebration of this fact and our upcoming product feature in their “Tie The Knot” segment in Q1 2019 (coming out Jan. 24th), we thought we would do a segment of our own about Condé Nast and Brides magazine.

You may have heard of Condé Nast, or at least some of their media properties before. You see, they own a little magazine called Vogue. They also own a few other notable magazines/brands, including: allure, bon appetit, GQ, Glamour, The New Yorker, WIRED, and Vanity Fair, to name a few. Condé Nast was founded in 1909 by Condé Montrose Nast, who was an American businessman and entrepreneur based out of New York City. He first purchased Vogue magazine in 1909 after it had been in publication for about 17 years. Nast is credited with taking the magazine to new heights and for being the driving force behind 20th century elite-centric lifestyle publications.

Famous Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is the current artistic director for the Condé Nast company. While the Better Man Beard products aren’t being featured in Vogue (just yet), they are being featured in Brides magazine which definitely has a lot of overlap in readership, authority, and international reach.

Brides magazine currently has quite the substantial reach across both print and digital platforms. According to its 2019 media kit one sheet, it has: 5 million print readers, 4.5 million digital uniques, and 4 million social followers with over 9 million video views. The magazine is geared toward the discerning, modern bride who, also according to their media kit, “wants her wedding to be fun and deeply personal. Brides connects with, inspires, and guides her with engaging content, emotional photography, expert advice, and a supportive community from pre -engagement to honeymoon to married life.”

Brides covers all aspects of today’s modern wedding. They have helpful articles and the latest information and trends regarding everything from choosing the right ring to finding the perfect location and venue to crafting the perfect proposal. Anything and everything to do with the wedding process from proposal to honeymoon is there. Our feature will be in the section specifically tailored to the grooms called “Tying The Knot” which offers men’s fashion and grooming advice for the big day. You can find Brides magazine online here on their website or anywhere fine magazines are sold.
