There are many great amenities available to us Boiseans like the Greenbelt, fantastic restaurants, and thriving breweries, but one of the very best is the annual Art in the Park festival. The 65th annual Art in the Park is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 6-7 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 8 in Julia Davis Park, 700 S. Capitol Blvd, and we will have a booth there, selling and demonstrating our products and gear. Come on by to see our balms and oils in action and to pick up the perfect gift for that bearded man in your life. 

What Is Art In The Park?

Art in the Park started back in 1954 as part of the Boise Art Museum’s public outreach initiative and has grown to one of Idaho’s premier artistic and cultural festivals. Featuring a record breaking 250 artists, this year’s festival will be one to remember. Art in the Park is not just a showcase of local artists and craftsmen but is a celebration of the end of summer and includes great food and beverages, including wine and beer created right here in Idaho. It also features live entertainment, music, and hands on activities for children. It is so much more than an art festival. It is a celebration of what makes Boise, and the rest of Idaho, great!

All Hands On Deck

This festival is a celebration of artists and craftsmen, but it also can’t happen without volunteers willing to help keep everything running smoothly. This year is no different! The Boise Art Museum, which runs the festival, needs YOU to volunteer. There are still positions available for everyone ages 14 on up. To check out the list of positions open and the duties they require, check out this link to the schedule website. As of August 15th, there are still over 100 positions open! We need your help to ensure this year will be even more successful than ever. There’s positions open for everything from helpers for taking down booths and putting up booths to helping give out brochures and even to pick up trash! All ages (14 and up) are welcome!
