Fall Beer Festival Events Around Boise

Posted on September 12 2019

Fall is right around the corner and that means that breweries are going to be kicking off their fall brews and beer festivals are ramping up so that we can party like it’s 1999! The hard truth is that fall flavors of beers are absolutely superior to their spring counterparts. So much so that it makes one question even having them in the first place. But, since October is coming around the bend, we won’t have to worry about spring beers sneaking up on us for a while. Boise may officially be the “City of Trees,” but it might as well be the “City of Beers.” We love our beer here and this fall is gearing up to be one of the most spectacular years yet for craft beer celebrations. If you would like to spend some time getting to know some new, local, and amazing beers and have fun doing it, then we have a list for you!

Old Boise Oktoberfest 2019: September 28th

Have some fun at historic Old Boise this year and grab some great craft brews while you’re at it. They will be taking over 6th and Main for the day so you can enjoy authentic German beers, treats and food, music, games and huge giveaways! This is an all ages event but you will need your ID if you are going to be tasting delicious German beers. Get your tickets here.

Oktoberhaus Beer Festival: September 28th

Brought to you by the fantastic folks at Powderhaus brewing, Oktoberhaus is your place to celebrate authentic German style craft beers and food this year. This is also a family friendly event, so patrons of all ages are welcome, but for those 21 and over you can buy tickets for $12 which gets you an exclusive Oktoberhaus 2019 beer glass and free pint of beer of your choosing. Each beer token after that is just $6. And make sure to bring your appetite because the fantastic We’re The Wurst food truck will be there on site all the way from Portland, Oregon to serve authentic sausages and sides. There will also be music and dancing! Check out their website for more details
