There’s so much floating around lately regarding the best ways to deal with and avoid the COVID 19 virus that it’s hard to keep track. One thing that is sure to help you the most during these extraordinary times is to stay home and limit your exposure to other people and high traffic places. Staying at home is the best way we can beat this thing and allow us to get back to some sense of normalcy as soon as possible. So, why not make the best of it? We decided to make staying at home a little more fun and interesting by turning it into a competition of sorts revolving around (that’s right, you guessed it) beards!

For the month of May, we are launching our very first “Go Big And Stay Home” beard growing blowout. The rules are pretty simple. For the month of May we are encouraging you to grow your beard out in a new, big, and spectacular way! Try a shape or style that you’ve never done before and let that sucker fly! There will be no trimming during the month, except for the mustache area and the neckline area to keep in line with general good grooming habits. Other than that, it’s free game! The sky’s truly the limit when it comes to fun, new, and exciting beard styles for you to try. 

Social distancing doesn’t have to be boring! When you do have to go out and about, let yourself be known from far away by announcing your presence with your new beard. 

Crazy Styles To Try

The Klingon: Ever wanted to look like a badass phazer-wielding alpha male of the Trek universe? Well, now’s your chance. The Klingon is a larger goatee style with the middle lip shaved clean. The outsides of the mustache area are left intact and are grown long to compliment the longer chin goatee. You can also grow out your head hair as well and put it back in a tight ponytail when preparing for battle. Remember, revenge is a dish best served cold.

The Old Dutch: Ever wanted to look like an old farmer and walk around with a straw hat and a corn cob pipe? Or maybe you are a big fan of ol’ Honest Abe Lincoln? Then this beard is for you! It is pretty much a full beard but with the mustache area completely shaved and the sideburns are connected all the way up. Makes everybody look downright presidential.

The Darwin: You don’t have to come up with a theory of anything to rock a beard that will make you look good in everything. This is a big and bold choice and is a variation on the full beard style that blends the sideburns more evenly into the main hair on the head. You can trim the mustache so that it is even and blends well with the hair around on either side. The Darwin is a truly classic style that will never go extinct.
