No-Shave.org: Helping To Fight Cancer, One Beard At A Time
11/28/2019

With the rise of the popular “No-Shave November” movement, November is quickly becoming a banner month for beards. As a purveyor of fine beard oils and balms, we couldn’t be happier to have an entire month of the year that celebrates beards. No-Shave.org is an organization that is doing great things to help humanity, specifically by raising awareness and money for treatments for men with cancer. It’s a good cause to support and we are happy to be even a small part of it.

Better Man Beard is raising money to help support No-shave.org in their mission. You can find us stationed at The Handlebar this week Saturday, November 30th starting at 7:00pm and going to 10:00pm. Join us at the End of No Shave November Party where all our proceeds will be donated to No-Shave.org! We will be doing “Man Games” like a 2x4 sawing contest, nail hammering contest, Nerf marksmanship challenge, and timed beer chugging. Entrance fee is just $20 which comes with a free beer and Better Man Beard brand slap koozie to keep your beers cold all year round. Winners will receive a fabulous prize package that includes a Better Man Beard branded throwing axe! Come on by and have some fun and drink some great beer for a good cause.

Here is some information about the No Shave November campaign from their website, no-shave.org:

The Concept

The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.

Get Involved

Participate by growing a beard, cultivating a mustache, letting those legs go natural, and skipping that waxing appointment. Put down your razor and set up your own personal No-Shave November fundraising page. If you're not ready to get hairy, sit back and support someone who is.

The Rules

The rules of No-Shave November are simple: put down your razor for 30 days and donate your monthly hair-maintenance expenses to the cause. Strict dress-code at work? Don't worry about it! We encourage participation of any kind; grooming and trimming are perfectly acceptable.

No-Shave November is a month-long journey during which participants forgo shaving and grooming in order to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness.
