Schweitzer’s Fall Fest, August 30th through September 2nd
08/02/2019

Here’s what’s going down high up at Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho. Just sneaking in at the tail end of summer is one of the coolest events of the entire year. This Labor Day weekend head on up to Sandpoint and stop by the Fall Fest. There will be beer and wine flights, music, and an awesome assortment of vendors!

Ticket Info

Technically, admission is free and you can enjoy the live music and vendors to your heart’s content, however, if you want to partake in the beer/wine/soda tasting and get the best deal, then you must buy a special glass or mug (info found here). Mugs and glasses start at $25 for a pint glass that you can use to get filled with one of the many delicious beers on tap at the festival. All glass purchases come with three free drink tokens that you can redeem at the beer stations. Another perk to buying a wine glass or mug is that you also get to enjoy free tastes/samples of the various beers and wines on tap.

For the kids and non-drinkers, there’s a fun soda cup you can buy that will also come with three free tokens for the soda station. At the soda station you can mix your own flavors and create wild concoctions. They'll also have arts and crafts vendors throughout the village and a food court nearby. Fun for everyone!

The Music

Kick Friday afternoon off right with two live bands and a festival selection of over 75 craft beers, wines, and ciders to choose from. The bands playing on Friday will be Far Out West and Santa Poco. Far Out West is a modern jam/funk band from beautiful Portland, Oregon. They have been featured at notable events like 4 Peaks Music Festival, Oregon Brewer's Festival, Northwest String Summit, and the upcoming Juniper Jam in Eastern Oregon. Santa Poco is all about celebrating Americana folk sounds of the Southwest and featuring powerful guitar themes and imaginative storytelling.

On Saturday you can catch some tunes from the Miah Kohl Band, Nate Botsford, and World’s Finest. These three acts will be playing at Fall Fest starting at 12pm and going all the way through 7pm and beyond with World’s Finest anchoring the night.

Sunday’s music kicks off with the band Balance Trick at 12pm, followed by Josh Farmer Band at 2:30pm and the day is brought home by Ron Artis ii & The Truth at 5pm.

We got a case of the Mondays, but it’s not a bad thing at all! On this Labor Day holiday, we get started with Trego aka Folkinception at 11am and the festival is closed out by fan favorite Sol Seed with their unique and delightful reggae-fusion style. View more band details and the full weekend lineup here on the Fall Fest website.
