Beard Styles for the New Year
12/19/2023

The New Year is approaching and it’s a great time to start planning and growing out your facial hair in order to adopt a new fresh style for the coming year. What new style do you want to try out? If you have any in mind, please share them with us on social media. We’d love to hear from you. In today’s article, we’re going to share a few of our favorite on-trend facial hair and beard styles for 2024 and beyond.

The Beardstache

Much like the Turducken or Kronuts or peanut butter and jelly, some things just taste better combined as opposed to on their own. That is also true for a fantastic new-ish trending beard style called the beardstache. It’s pretty much as you would think it looks by the name. It is a full, pronounced mustache with a light full beard covering the rest of your face. The trick is to keep the rest of your facial hair just around or slightly longer than stubble length in order to highlight the epic mustache and to keep your style from tipping over into just a full blown beard. If you like combining two great things to create a new thing, then this style is for you.

Mutton Chops

2024 is a year of self-expression and trying something daring that you wouldn’t normally do. This is the perfect year to try out your take on mutton chops! It is just quirky and different looking yet instantly recognizable that it could become really popular, especially with the younger crowd. Do you want to sport a style that is both modern and retro? Classic yet non-traditional? Then this might be the one for you. Just remember that mutton chops are not for the faint of heart!

The Viking Beard

If you’ve ever wanted to unleash your inner-viking warlord, then 2024 is the year for you. This beard style is relatively easy to maintain but has a striking impact on all those who encounter it. For a visual representation, think of Jason Momoa when his beard is at its longest and craziest. It is a style that requires little upkeep and no particular styling apart from trimming away any unwanted straggling patches etc. This old school style of beard is meant to evoke images of old vikings rallying for war and trimming their beards with nothing but the edges of their battle axes.
