Fall Beard Style Guide
09/15/2023

With fall pretty much on our doorstep, it’s time to start thinking about changing up our summer beard look and embracing the new fall style. It’s not just for pure fashion reasons either. The change in season, especially fall, brings about several significant lifestyle changes as well. You will be dressing more warmly and spending less time outside. You will be exposed to more dry inside air that can dry out your skin and beard. Now is the perfect time to adjust your style and beard to prepare for the changes to come so we can be prepared to take on the rest of the year with style and gusto!

Beard Style

A great way to take on the fall weather head on, or rather face on, is to grow and change your beard. Embrace the longer beard styles and help to protect your face from the cold at the same time. Having a beard is definitely nice around the fall and holiday season, but it doesn’t happen overnight. You have to plan for it and now, in late summer, is the perfect time to do so. Here are a few you can try:

  • The French Fork- A partially full beard with a double point at the chin instead of a single point, hence the “fork” name
  • The Verdi- This is a great beard and mustache pairing. It combines the classic 1930’s curled mustache with a full beard trimmed to a single long point at the chin. It’s an elegant way to pull off a full beard in today’s modern society
  • The Mountain Man- What better time to embrace your inner lumberjack/forest hermit than the fall? Let your beard grow full out with minimal trimming just to keep it in line
  • Beard Care For Fall

Summer can be hard on your beard with all of the harsh chemicals from pool water and UV damage from more sun exposure during the hot weather, but fall is no slouch. The colder temperatures, especially during the transition between seasons can really dry out your skin and leave your beard hair absolutely brittle and split. Regular moisturizing is a must and we have just the products to help. For fall, we recommend a dose of our hearty Spruce beard balm each morning to help you start the day off with a long-lasting dryness protection.

For when you’re on the go, we recommend picking up this great combo: a new travel friendly pocket comb and a .5 ounce tin of the perfect for fall scent Franky T balm. With these two by your side, you won’t get left in the cold when it comes to taking care of your face and beard.
