We hate to see it. Day after day of rain, snow, and whatever freezing cold moisture Mother Nature decides to throw at us. This winter/spring has been relentless and if you’re like us, we’re getting quite stir-crazy and itching for adventure. But, with the weather so foul, it’s almost impossible to have a proper outdoor adventure unless you like to be hiking and camping through freezing rain. If that’s the case, then more power to you! But, for the rest of us, we are going to take our adventuring indoors for the time being where it’s warm and dry and the drinks are plentiful. We’ve gathered a few fun indoor activities that you and your friends can do while the weather isn’t cooperating.

Grab That Axe And Toss It!

While the weather is bad outside, it’s a perfect time to go axe throwing inside! We know that the relentless bad weather makes us frustrated, so why not take out that frustration with a hearty axe and a full tankard of lager? • Located on Fairview. They offer axe throwing and a smash room in which you and friends can take turns destroying household items to your heart’s content!

Base Camp. Axe Throwing. Drinks. Ping Pong (And Other Games)

• They truly have it all and are a little more family friendly than RAGERS. You can get some good food and drinks and play arcade style games or just jump right into axe throwing.

Hit A Bucket Of Balls, Why Don’t Ya?!

We’re big fans of Meridian’s newest family friendly attraction, Topgolf. Check out their climate controlled driving range bays and chef-driven dining that truly is the total package when it comes to fun nights indoors. You can hit a bucket of balls while sipping on a hand-crafted cocktail and indulging in the latest culinary trends with your friends and family. Get Your Video Game On!

We love to smash golf balls and throw axes, but it is also fun to smash a few buttons on the ol’ arcade panel as well! For a fun indoor adventure where you can revisit childhood favorites like Pac-Man and Mario Kart 64, there’s no place like the Space Bar, located in the heart of downtown at the corner of Capitol and Idaho.
